Trans-Polinazada (Trans-Pollinated in english) was an artist book I did as my graduation project. These are a series of oil pastel drawings conveying what it is to be transgender. I have many ideas about how to represent my feelings and which media to use  but in the end I took a risk with the oil pastels because this book needed my raw gesture. Bees are my current motifs as a girl that wants to be left alone but can get defensive if someone attacksme. Fairies is a topic I have been obsessed since I was a little girl and watched Winx Club.

Making this book was a challenge on efficient time management and learning to use this new media. Do to my budget I couldn´t afford colors so I planned strategically and decided to divide color use by page, making far more interesting drawings. I am proud of myself of making this book and expanding my visual language. I´m certain to return to oil pastels and maybe make a second book.
